IDEOLOGY OF SYED AHMAD SHAHEED

May Allah make the lot of us all good and protect us from ill-luck! Abu Lahb was unfortunate although he found the age of the Holy Prophet . Not only the age but close relationship also. O yes, if man is unlucky, even relationship with the Prophet does not do good to him whereas there will be the Muslims in the age of Dajjaal who will go direct to paradise. O yes, if man is lucky, even Dajjaal cannot harm him. I wonder at the Muslims who call themselves Muslims but oppose Jihaad. Even the when blood and funerals of the Shuhaada cannot change their thinking and obstinacy. There are same old discourses and same old objections against Jihaad. May Allah save us from ill-luck! The Holy Quran talks of Jihaad again and again but the unlucky people do not understand. If you tell them anything about the discoveries of science, they accept it at once but the call of the Surah Al-Anfall and Surah At-Taubah does not move their heart. They just say that today's Jihaad is "Purposeless." Who may tell them that Jihaad is Allah's dictate and acting upon Allah's dictate and reviving it is itself a great object. The Shuhaada of Baala Kot are mentioned again and again because the apparent result of that movement is not visible to the people but the Mujaahideen of that movement saw themselves their celestial wives descending from the sky. I always advise those who persuade to Jihaad not to let the grand obligation of Jihaad be disgaced in useless questions and answers. Tell the Muslims humbly and beseechingly that Jihaad is Allah's dictate. O Muslims, act upon Allah's command. Describe to the people the obligation of Jihaad, excellences of martyrdom and warnings at giving up Jihaad. The lucky one will stand up after hearing only one Hadith. What is the result of the present day Jihaad? Ask the Pagans not the Muslims about it how greatly they are terrified due to this Jihaad and how their projects are becoming the cause of their humiliation. It is sufficient for us that Allah may make us Mujaahid in His way. There should be mad passion in our hearts for the uplift of the words of Allah and that our bodies may shatter in the way of our dear Lord.

Hazrat Syed Ahmad Shaheed told the people all his life that the highest degree of Belief is acquired due to Jihaad in the way of Allah. The biggest requirement of love for Allah is to offer sacrifice in Jihaad in the way of Allah. Hence, the man who pronounces his claim of Islam, Belief and love for the Lord, should set forth for Jihaad in the way of Allah to prove his claim and reap success with Allah. There were very high-ranked scholars in the organization of Hazrat Syed Ahmad Shaheed.

Full substance of knowledge of the tribe of Wali-Allah was included in his Caravan. These days, the people who raise objections against Jihaad in the way Allah should pray to Allah to get rid of their ill-luck and study the details of the Caravan of Hazrat Syed Ahmad Shaheed. Their ideology will be reformed if Allah wills. The people who raise doubts and questions against Jihaad are of many kinds:

1. Some people have resolved not to set forth for Jihaad. O yes, not for a minute even. If every of the question of these people is answered from the verses of the Holy Quran, they are not affected. They just play with words. Sometimes they say that they are satisfied and then pronounce contrary to it. It is not destined to them that their wealth may be accepted for the sake of Jihaad or they may be blessed with the ornaments of the Paradise i.e. Jihaad weapons. They are ever in search of evernew questions. I very clearly remember that when "the Jaish Muhammad" was established, some people raised objections against an individual why he had been included in the "Jaish." After a few years, when that gentleman separated from the Jaish, those people again clamourd why he had been expelled. However, they are never supporters of Jihaad or Mujaahideen in any situation. Jihaad is not a grand obligation to them rather a toy to play with. What use of debate with such people?

2. Some people regard Jihaad as a good task but regard themselves and their anti-Jihaad actions as superior to Jihaad. They have before them neither the definite dictates of the Holy Quran which describe the superiority of the Mujaahideen nor the Jihaad sayings of the Holy Prophet and his life as these people change the sequence of the Sharia. They are also lost in doubts and they are not blessed with two words to encourage a Mujaahid or pray for a Mujaahid earnestly and sincerely whereas this is the blessing of the "Finality of Prophethood" that the Jihaad initiated by the Holy Prophet is still fresh and grand. I persuade all the Muslims to set forth to some Sharia Jihaad. The states created in the process of going and returning cannot be described in words. Ask those who contest elections what becomes the state of Belief after thirty days' election campaign. The experienced people say that Belief, prayer and mental states die their own death. It seems that there is no heart in the chest but a black stone. Now, spend these thirty days in Jihaad journey. Allah-o-Akbar! There are alive nights, beautiful days, lively prayers and the supplications that reach the sky. There are special enjoyments of Zikr and Maraaqibah and the showers of blessings and resplendence at the heart. The grace of Jihaad even today is that when a woman takes off her bangles of gold to give them for the sake of Jihaad, the state of her heart changes at once. All the darkness and sexuality disappear and there is all resplendence. These days, even when a miserable afflicted person intends for "Fedai Jiaah" all of a sudden, tranquility begins to descend upon his heart. When a man shovels his hand into his pocket or safe, his soul begins to fly above the sky. O the slaves of Allah, Jihaad is a great thing; a very great thing. Allah Himself and the Holy Prophet have told this point. Hazrat Syed Ahmad Shaheed was also one of the lucky people of the Muslim Ummah who grasped this point of Allah and His Messenger .

Hazrat Syed Ahmad says:

"The basis of all worships, the gist of all obedience and the orbit of all auspiciousness is that the slave may develop the relation of slavery with Allah. The result of establishment of this relation is that he may be blessed with love for Allah more than the love for all the relations and things. Now, how it will come to be known that love for Allah suppercedes all. The Examination Hall of this love is "The Field of Jihaad." Hence, setting forth for Jihaad which is called peak and crust of Islam in Hadith is an authentic symbol of the fact that love for Allah has dominated over love for the creatures." (Syed Ahmad Shaheed P:252)

This is the true Islamic concept about Jihaad. Lucky are those male and female Muslims who are attached with the grand and sacred task of Jihaad anyway in this age even. Congratulations to all those from the entire Umamh. Do study "Fat-hul-Jawwaad" if Allah grants you with the capacity. Study "Fazaail-e-Jahaad" once. Study books by Hazrat Maulana Syed Abul-Hasan Nadvi and Maulana Ghulam Rasul Mahr about Hazrat Syed Ahmad Shaheed. Study the statements and incidents of Hazrat Syed Ahmad. You will certainly blurt out that the blessing of Jihaad is granted only to the "auspicious people." May Allah embellish the lot of us all and save us from misery and ill-luck!
