Rang-o-Noor (BY SA'DI) THE LOVING HEART |

May Allah correct our hearts sheer out of His Mercy!
Every one does not have heart in his chest. O yes, the real heart that is always in the memory of the beloved. Everyone does not possess such a heart. We have been talking of the correction of the heart since last week. Today, I intend to write about that same topic but now, I am feeling some pain in the heart. America has termed Dr. Aafia Siddiqui who is the sister of ten hundred billion and forty hundred million Muslims a culprit. Sister Aafia was delighted when she heard the decree. Her mother also displayed the courage of her faith and said, "This is the Eid Day for us." But we do not know why our hearts are weeping. The American decision has stabbed a dagger in our hearts and has injured them. There is the allegation against poor weak Aafia of attacking seven American soldiers. When the courts take such decisions, only disruption will spread in the world. The haughty judges did not think that Aafia is not heirless. She is the dear sister of billions of brothers. She took up the path of honour and embellished her paradise. Now which of her brother you will stop to become a Mujaahid and Fedai? No doubt, the sacrifice of Aafia will be helpful in leading this Ummah to safety. All know that the path of respect, honour and safety for the Muslims is fighting in the way of Allah. Greetings to you, O Aafia sister and bundles of supplications. Now, let us come to the correction of the heart. Actually, we do not recognize the heart. We regard our numerous bad wishes as heart as is in the papers that the hearts of the Pakistanis are sore because Pakistani cricketers have not been valued in India. O Allah pardon! The heart is a very elevated and exalted thing. How can it break due to so trivial matter? The Pakistani Muslim players had bone to India to sell themselves. Is it a good thing?
One begins to feel nausea when one sees that price is set at the Pakistani players. The name of a player is called and his price is labelld. Moreover, the Indian Miraasi artisans set the price. The one who sets maximum price purchases that player. How shameful this scene is! A modest person cannot imagine it. But our players went to India in order to sell themselves gripped by lust for wealth. The Hindu Polytheists spat at them very scornfully. The hearts of our nation were injured at it. These days people do not understand the poetic verses of the mystics. The mystics have said stressively, "Do not injure others' hearts." Does heart mean the desires of the Self? If a man tells you that he wishes to break in your house, will you allow him to do so to console him? If a man demands you to prostrate before the idols and then he recites to you the verses of some mystic describing not to injure others hearts, will you prostrate before the idols to console him? People offer the points of the mystics just to legalise their sins. Last days, the BBC broadcast a programme against Jihaad and recited the poem of a mystic poet from among the Southern Punjab. The theme of that Suraiki poem was, "Demolish the Masjid, demolish the temple but do not break anyone's heart." I thought that if a man goes to the reporter of the BBC and says, "I wish to give you ten blows and ten whips. Allow me in order to console me please because you say: Demolish the Masjid or the temple but do not break anyone's heart. If you do not allow me, my heart will be injured." Then note how great mystic the reporter of the BBC is. These people do not spend even ten rupees to console others but talk of the mystics whereas the concept of Masjid and temple is different in the verses of the mystics and the meaning of the heart is also different. Hazrat Khawaja Majzoob has used the word "Heart" in a few of his verses. Do study those verses. :
The reporters for the BBC and the poor slaves of the British do not comprehend Urdu, how they will perceive the verses of the Hazrat Baba Farid Ganj Shakr. They heard the word of demolishing the Masjid and copied those verses in delight that Baba Farid, God forbids, has become secular. Is the heart not injured due to the demolishing of the Masjid? Only one Babury Masjid was demolished and the hearts of millions of the Muslims were injured. How can Baba Farid, about whose worship and austerity full books can be written, talk of demolishing a Masjid? Those people considered it great auspiciousness to clean the Masjid with their beards. Now when the point of breaking of the heart has come, do listen that Mr. Jigr Muraadabaadi considered the breaking of the heart a great victory.
Also study a few verses of Jigr about breaking of the heart. Possibly, the heart is gripped by love.
In another verse, Jigr says us that freedom of the heart is in the captivity of the eyes.
He describes the state of the heart of the lover in the following verse.
When a half-dead heart gets recharging after union with a living heart, what is the state at that time.
Try to understand this verse. You will gain much if Allah wills. Actually, the loving heart is better than the dry unloving heart and it reaches its destination soon. Jigr Muraadabaady also had a loving heart but he indulged himself in drinking. Then the reality of the heart showed out and the heart was populated with the wine of love of Allah. The verses that Jiger composed after giving up drinking are worth-studying. He used to say, "I have become a bigger drunkard after giving up wine. Now the wine that I get in the morning, its intoxication makes me amorous to the very hair of the body." In olden times, when the holy people saw someone whose heart used to be devoid of love but filled with selfishness, first of all they aroused in him the "passion of love." At this, the selfishness vanished away and so great love was generated that he got delight in sacrificing for the beloved. Then they laboured to direct that love to the Real Lord.
A dry person went to a saint and requested him for correction. The saint
kept that person with him for a few days and found him devoid of the
passions of love and worried only about himself and his self. The first
lesson that he gave him was, "Observe contemplation and create love for
the buffalo in your heart". The holy man had a buffalo. He appointed
that person to look after the buffalo and advised him to look at it with
love and remain in his company most of the time. When away from it,
close your-eyes and remember it. Enumerate its good qualities in the
presence of your companions etc. etc. That person practiced it for a few
days and his heart began to move. Now, he was developing love for the
buffalo. Then that love led him to sacrifice that he gave his bread to
the buffalo. He sacrificed his sleep and looked after the buffalo. Then
that love prevailed upon his senses that he remained upset for that
buffalo. When that buffalo was discussed, his heart began to pulpitate.
Then that holy man appointed him to "remember Allah." Now, he had become
loving at heart. Soon he succeeded in love for the Real Lord. Actually,
worship of thinking and the heart is a great thing. All of us should
invoke to Allah from the core of the hearts and think of love for Allah
from the heart. After prayer, sit for a while and think, "Allah loves
me. I am His slave. He has granted me with the capacity to Believe,
prayer and Jihaad. He has put veils over my sins. How greatly people
will hate me if my condition is exposed to the people? Allah has
forgiven me out of His grace, brought me to the Masjid and granted me
with the capacity to remember him. The trouble that is upon me is very
less in comparison with my sins and is in my favour and benefit, think
about the verses which express love for Allah
