THE MAGIC FAILED

Allah has described the method of success in the Holy Quran in detail. Is there anyonewho may understand it? Why do people enchant and get enchanted? Have you read full detail of the incident of the magicians of Egypt in the Holy Quran who had come to compete Hazrat Musa ? These days, there is again a great clamour of "enchantment" in the world. The enchantment of the country of Continent America where earthquake hit was very famous. The tourists from all over the world used to go to "Haitti" to enchant, get enchanted and to learn enchantment. These days "Haitti" is all debris and dead bodies. Enchantment is very greatly in vogue in Africa. Last days, the magicians of a country there slaughtered fifty-five such individuals as had marks of leprosy on their bodies. The magicians believe that the charm made of the pieces of flesh of these people are very useful and effective. May Allah be kind to us! Not to speak of the Pagans; magic, superstitions, charms and Anti-Sharia practices are running rampart among the Muslims even.

As much as a man nourishes love for the world, he is indulged in these unlawful things i.e. (1) the yearning to get ones problems solved, (ii) the passion to trouble and torture others. (iii) the craze to know the hidden secret news and to learn about the future. (iv) and fondness to acquire every thing in the world. If the Muslims have a look at the lives of the Prophets the heart will be reformed. The people who enchant and make others enchant, go much away Belief. The people who are impressed by every stange thing and news go astray very soon.

Allah has given fire the capacity to burn. Should we consider it "God"? Allah has given the Pagans and the deviated people with some power to do something. There are strange stories about Pharaoh. He lived for four hundred years. He never fell ill. Water used to flow behind him. That idiot developed the delusion perhaps he was "God."

Allah has empowered the birds to fly. Why are we impressed when a person begins to fly? The Holy Prophet himself has described the conjuring and might of Dajjaal and has also told us, "No need being impressed. He is an infidel. Those who believe in him, will go to hell." Seeing the present day technology, many people have started considering America and Europe successful. Why? How can a person steeped in needs from head to toe become "God?" i.e the need of earning, drinking and toileting. If a professor of today forecasts a little about future, there becomes a long line of cars or vehicles in front of his house. All the ministers and artists bow before him to get their fate corrected. There has been a "Barhjamchaari" Saadhu in India. He showed many tricks. Even the rulers of the country followed him. The rulers and artists showered so much wealth on him in order to get their fate corrected. Then he would fly in his own aeroplane. He announced that he would remain young and healthy at least for 350 years. One day, he was going to Jammu from Dilli in his own plane that one stroke of fate made him debris along with his plane. If progress is the name of the things which America and Europe possess, Pharaoh was very progressed and Namrood was very advanced. The progress of Shaddaad was so great that he was getting paradise constructed on the earth. The remains of the progress of the Aad nation have not yet been wiped out. America and Europe are poor in comparison with them because they suffer from diseases, Aids, anxicties, tensions and restlessness. If the present day Muslims want to be like America and Europe, why do they not talk of becoming like Pharaoh, Haanaan and Shaddaad? The mouths of our column writers begin to water as soon as they hear the name of Bill Gettys. Why do these people not eulogize Qaroon? History testifies that the wealth of Qaroon was many times greater than the assets of Bill Gettys. The Cambridge, Oxford and Howard univesities are nothing in comparison with University that Pharaoh constructed in Egypt. The high buildings of today are wiped out in only two jerks as the two buildings of the World Trade Center were razed to the ground due to the collision of two planes whereas the plaster of the buildings of Pharaoh has not yet been peeled off. There came several tempests, floods, earthquakes and the fire of sand but the palaces of the Pharaoh, the Coffins lying in those palaces and the dead bodies lying in those Coffins were not spoiled at all. I often think why do the people who abuse and taunt Hazrat Amir Muawia after reading some details of American university not write columns in praise of Pharaoh. Hazrat Muawia was the conqueror of Arabia and Non-Arabia and his style of government indulged the Roman Kings into inferiority complex. It is a great oppression to compare his rule with a minor university. I invite all my readers to survey the controversies of science just in one newspaper. One news is published that the scientists have persuaded the fleshy people to eat flesh. Billions of dollars are spent on it. So many elephants and cows are slaughtered who grow fat without eating meat etc.etc. After a few days, science reveals that the fleshy people should not touch the flesh, tell me, what should the fleshy people do! One research comes that man is two billion years old. Then it is told that he grew into man from a fish 600 billion years ago. One report says, "Eat Chocolate well as it is useful for the heart". The other report says, "Chocolate is a poison for heart patients." The scientists have spent billions of dollars to know why man flies into rage. When some of our speakers refer to science in order to testify the dictates of Islam, my heart begins to tremble with the apprehension how much bad effect common people will accept if the scientists say something else in future. I heard a gentleman telling the research of scientists about Masah (washing the neck in ablution) of neck. I did not like it. If some Europeon Institute of Science accepts bribe and calls "Masah" harmful, shall we kick it out from ablution. A short while ago, a big European institute called the cow flesh a "Poison". As soon as I read the report,. I concluded that the Hindus had got that report prepared by the British after bribing them heavily. There was great clamour about that report in entire India. Afterwards, another scientific institution falsified it. Our physicians also forbid to eat the cow meat. This is done in order to cure some diseases not that meat is a poison. As soon as the meat of the cow is digested, it can invite the bull for competition. So, this flesh is very useful for those who do physical work whereas the sluggish people belch greatly after eating Turnip. The Holy Prophet slaughtered cow as sacrifice from his wives on the eve of pilgrimage. The matter ends here. Now, neither a report, nor a research is needed. Allama Iqbal had said, "The religion of the East is Trade". The white sell every thing. Hence reports are also now sold like hot cakes. Science is a good thing to some extent but now science has become the killer of human beings. The present day science has snatched away health and peace of mind from the people. Let it go. You may remain inclined to science but do not take it as "God." The magicians of Egypt were very great scientists of that time. It is written in some books that they had techonology of making mercury. They had filled their ropes and cudgels with mercury and they had made underground heating system where competition was to take place. When they threw the ropes and cudgels on the earth and switched on heaters, mercury filled up in the ropes began to jump up. The authentic saying is that they had cast a spell over the eyes of the lookers on. However, this scene was so horrible and impressive that Hazrat Musa himself was instinctively perturbed. All this is mentioned in the Holy Quran. But what happened then? Hazrat Musa brought a miracle with Allah's command and that miracle engulfed the entire "Magic". O yes, when Hazrat Musa threw down his stick, it became a very huge real anaconda. It swallowed all the ropes and cudgels and the plain was cleaned away. For this purpose, please study the translation of the following verses from an authentic translation of the Holy Quran. (1) Surah Al-Araf 107-112,(2) Surah Younas 75-79, (3) Surah Taaha 57-59, (4) Surah Shuar 38-42, (5) Surah Taaha 61-64, (6) Surah Taaha 65-69, (7) Surah Al-Araf 115-119,(8) Surah Younas 80-86, (9) Surah Taaha 70, (10) Al-Araf 120-122, (11) Surah Taaha 71, (12) Surah Taaha 72-73, (13) Surah Shuara 50-51

If you recite the Holy Quran at these thirteen places, you will come to know of this "Belief-provoking" incident with sequence.

1) Hazrat Musa's showing miracles to Pharaoh and Pharaoh's denial of them.

2) The decision of Pharaoh and his ministers to collect magicians from all over the county to counter Hazrat Musa and Hazrat Haroon .

3) Fixing the Eid day for competition.

4) Gathering of Pharaoh, his authories and the masses in the field for the competition and confrontation of the magicians with Hazrat Musa .

5) Hazrat Musa's persuasion in the field of competition.

6) Announcement of big rewards (medals) from Pharaoh for magicians if they stand victorious.

7) Initial conversation of Hazrat Musa and the magicians throwing down the ropes ad cudgels, race of those ropes and cudgels.

8) Hazrat Musa's feeling fear. The power of magic can be estimated from it.

9) Hazrat Musa's throwing down the stick following Allah's dictate. The stick's becoming anaconda and engulfing all the conjurings and tricks.

10) The magician's prostration before Allah and Believing. Pharaoh threats to kill them and the clear reply of the magicians, " O Pharaoh, do what you like, we have believed in our real Lord".

May Allah grant you with the power and capacity to study this incident only once. These days, there is clamour of spell everywhere. On the other hand, technology is also deviating the Muslims like "magic." The people are impressed by magicians, fortune-tellers and astrologers. The armies of the heathens are rushing everywhere like the ropes of the magicians. The people are as impressed by America and Europe as the Egyptians were impressed by Pharaoh and the magicians. Three points can very clearly be perceived after reading the entire incident.

1) The Scholars have described many differences between miracles and magic. One of them is that when there is a competition between miracles and magic, the magic is defeated. Hence, it becomes clear that if a Muslim is under some spell, he must cure it with verses from the Holy Quran. If the Holy Quran is the miracle, no magic will dare stand this great magic. The second point is that the power of the heathens is a magic in one way whereas Jihaad is a "miracle" because it is the dictate of the Holy Quran. How will the power of the heathens stand the power of Jihaad if Allah wills!

2) The big magicians of Engypt repented of Heathenism seeing the miracles of Hazrat Musa . How is it fair for a Muslim to wash his hands of Belief seeing magic and magicians. The Muslims should not be awed by some magic, trick and technology. The biggest of all magicians i.e "Dajjaal" is still to be revealed. Hence, fortify your Belief and creed.

3) The magicians prostrated before Allah and were at once nearest and dearest ones of Allah. It means they became complete Muslims only in one prostration. How did this happen? Many people are not corrected even after fifty years' prostrations. The answer to this question will be in another sitting if Allah wills. Only keep it in mind that offering oneself for sacrifice is a great sacrifice.
