MARTYRDOM OF A TRUE SCHOLAR

May Allah bless the Ulama with the best reward as they serve the cause of the Noble Quran and Sunna, serve the Muslims, populate the Masjid but are killed on the roads mercilessly!

Who could believe that a scholar like Maulana Hasan John would be shot dead on the road: This man imparted religious knowledge to thousands of people and was one of the greatest scholars on the earth. The seventy years old man kept palpitating on the road after receiving the bullet shots.

Very strange are the scholars of this Ummah. They have nothing in their hearts than compassions for the Muslims. Some immodest killers came with the pretext to take with them for Nikah ceremony. Ulama read Azaan in the ear of the newly born baby in the houses of the Muslims. They lead the funeral prayers and bathe the dead. They labour day and night to join people with Allah. Then some of the Muslims shoot them or abuse them. See the affection of the Ulama'. The killers came and took Maulana Hasan to slaughter him under the pretext of Nikah. Maulana started with them praying for them.

A killer stretched his hands to Maulana Muhammad Yousaf Ludhanvi to shake hands with him. He delivered his hand to him very affectionately. He gripped his hand and shot him.

The Abbasids made Imam Ahmad bin Hanble the butt of worst oppression. They chained him, whipped him and abused him badly but he forgave all except those who committed Bida' and would recite the following verse in this regard: and said, "If a Muslim is punished due to me, what I will gain. Allah says:

"The man who forgives, and reconciles, his rewards is with Allah. Allah certainly dislikes the oppressors."

Moreover, on the Day of Judgement, a caller will call:

"That man should stand up whose reward is with Allah."

Then those people will stand up who would have forgiven their culprits. There is a tradition by Hazrat Abu Huraira (RA) in Muslim: The Holy Prophet said: Three points are there at which I pledge. One is that wealth does not decrease due to Sadqa(alms). Second: Allah respects much the man who forgives. Third, Allah exalts that man who adopts humility for the sake of Him. (Muslim)

This is the broad-mindedness of the Ulama' that they bear every oppression but forgive the oppressors. But Allah observes all. The fire in which the killers of Ulama will fall is very horrible. The killers of Hazrat Maulana Hasan John Shaheed will face disgrace and ruination in this world and the Hereafter. These oppressors have tried to snatch the "Blessing" of the Muslims from them. The Holy Prophet says: Auspiciousness is due to your elderly people.

Hazrat Maulana Hasan John was one of the elderly ones in every respect. Allah had given him beneficial knowledge and action. He was one of the elderly ones also as regards age. He was the collection of auspiciousnesses. The scholars of this Ummah are like the prophets of Bani Israil and their killers are the worst people of the age. The present "Parvezi regime" is the regime of the killers of Ulama. The chain that started from Maulana Muhammad Yousaf Ludhianvi reached Maulana Hasan John enveloping Ghazi Abd-ur-Rasheed. There are many names between this like Mufti Nizam-ud-Din, Mufti Muhammad Jamil Khan, Maulana Muhammad Azam Tariq and many others of very high rank. The heart began to weep hearing the news of the killing of Maulana Hasan John and many perfumed sentences pronounced in the atmosphere of Madina began to resound in the ears.

Describing the signs of nearness of the day of resurrection, the Holy Prophet had said:

"Knowledge will be lifted. Ignorance and perfidy will rule the supreme. There will be much "Harj". It was asked: "What is Harj?" He explained with the gestures of his hands: "killing." (Killing and bloodshed will prevail). (Bukhari). He says:

One of the signs of Qiyamah is that knowledge will lessen and ignorance will prevail and there will be open fornication." (Bukhari)

The knowledge here means "Religious Knowledge". He explained that knowledge will lessen in a way that Ulama' will be lifted up. Then people will adopt ignorant, illiterate people their chief and ruler. The Holy Prophet says:

"Allah will not lift knowledge that He may extract it from the hearts but He will prevail death upon the Ulama' and lift the knowledge until a scholar remains alive. When there will be no scholar, people will make the illiterate people their chiefs. These ignorant chiefs will be asked religious issues. They will issue decrees without knowledge. In this way, they will themselves go astray and betray others also." (Bukhari)

Now, the worshippers of ignorance are killing the Ulama' one by one and making religious institutions the centres of physical education so that the knowledge of the Noble Quran and Sunna may end up and those people may begin to be called Ulama' who know nothing of Din. The fact is, Ulama' are the blessing of Allah upon the Ummah. Now all the Pagans and hypocrites want to wipe out these Ulama'. These unbelievers and hypocrites are not afraid of those Ulama' who are attracted by Five Star Hotels and are mundane. They fear only of the Ulama' of the Masjid and Hazrat Maulana Hasan John very proudly called himself the Maulvi of Masjid.

A few days ago, "daily the Express" had an interview with him and asked, "Which dish do you like?" At this, Harzat Maulana Hasan John said: "Maulvi and people of Masjid do not differentiate between the blessings of Allah. They eat what is available."

May Allah raise the degrees of Hazrat Maulana Hasan John and accept his martyrdom!

I end this sorrowful writing at the saying which Imam Bukhari has narrated with authentic tradition. The Holy Prophet says:

"Allah blesses the man with the religious knowledge upon whom He wants to shower His blessings and I (The Holy Prophet ) am only the distributor. The giver is only Allah. This Ummah will always be firm to Allah's command. The man who opposes them will not be able to do any harm till Allah's order (Qiyamah) comes."

Allah intended to do good with Hazrat Maulana Hasan John and gave him sound religious knowledge in abundance. Ulama' are the distributors of knowledge. The giver is only Allah. Allah is Omnipresent. That man will be blessed with knowledge even today who has true deep desire for gaining knowledge and the evil-monger opponents of this Ummah will not be able to harm this Ummah. This Ummah, this is the Last Ummah. After this Ummah is the Day of Judgement. Therefore, no one can wipe us out. No one! No one!
